Yes, I'm still here! H just had a growth spurt; now several of his pants are too short. He'll just have to wear highwaters for awhile, as our budget is reeling from the new car and J not getting work bonuses because sales are down because of the economy blah blah blah... In more interesting news, here's a clip about knitting the teeny tiny sweaters for Coraline.

Can you sew on decorative cuffs to make the pants longer? Maybe? Or there's the pants pattern (make toddler pants from an old grown-up shirt) in Soule Mama's Creative Family book. Or Made by Petchy has a pants-making tutorial, if you have fabric waiting around somewhere. Or knit! You could knit some pants! Though he might outgrow them by the time they're done! (or does that only happen to me?)
ReplyDeleteYeah, most of his pants are homemade using Soule Mama's technique... and I did once crochet a pair, but it didn't work out very well.

But, yeah, I should probably say that laziness is a factor here. :)
